Ok So first a little about me and how I came to be in this illustrious Corp
Gunpoint Diplomacy [RANSM]
My EvE career started as a carebear, I quickly outgrew my first corp and started my own. Then soon decided to join an anti pirate Alliance
One day Alex Medvedov The Jaguar God of Eve and I were flying in Half. I cannot properly remember what I was flying, most likely a Hurricane, and no prizes for guessing what Alex was flying. Wasn’t long before we had spotted a Myrmidon in a belt. We engaged. The Myrm was piloted by one Sard Caid. Long story short we couldn’t kill him and he was also unable to kill us, so we started chatting and thus my respect for this great pilot was born. He was funny, smart, obviously knew how to pvp and we parted ways on good terms. I encountered him many times over the following months and as time past we became friends and whilst I was in Snuff Box I would regularly Clone jump to Molden heath to Fly with him for some old School pvp action and a break from the blob fest that was living near Tama.
Soon I was spending more and more of my game time in Molden heath and I realised it was time to come home. I joined Sard’s corp RANSM and have been there ever since.
When I joined RANSM had 6 members today the member count stands at 30 The latest addition being none other than the jaguar god himself \o/.
So what follows are some brief or not so brief words from some of my fellow corp. members. I posed the questions and they were all fantastic to oblige me with their awesome replies. The questions, some serious some not so much, hopefully to afford you the reader some amusement.

How does it feel to be the creator and CEO of Gunpoint?
Creating the corporation wasn't really the huge step, rather leaving The Uninvited Guests was where the excitement originated. I never expected to reach where the corp. is now, with over two dozen pilots and no end in sight to further growth and development of the organization.
CEO is an odd role, and as more people enter the corp., the more the game becomes less a game and more a community. With the defacto leadership position, it falls to me to tend to the community, cater to its needs and keep everyone happy. Most of the time it's an enjoyable role that really adds to the experience; however other times I'd rather just shrink into the background to let others take over. I'm awed how much this game through this role has taught me about myself and in many ways helped me mature as a person.
How important are suitable memes and Gifs towards the morale of a corp?
GIFs will be deployed until morale improves.
What are your opinion of Falcons and Drakes and the use of them within your corp. fleets?
Oh, and drakes are OP, we fly cyclones.
Can you please describe the corp. in 5 words or less?

What would you say was the Ethos and future direction of GPD?
I can't speak to GPD, but RANSM will continue to be a "for fun" corporation, with less emphasis on serious PvP and more on keeping the community entertained. The corporation will continue to be a haven for those individuals who wish to grow themselves and others within the EVE community, without the chains of commitment other organizations tend to bind their members with. With more friends, our capabilities only grow, and so I don't see a limit to the expansion of our operations within Molden Heath and elsewhere.

How does being in RANSM distract you from your presidential duties?

Does it unsettle you that many RANSM members don’t fly rifters?
As far as I am concerned these people don't exist. I just block them all and pretend they're not there.
What is it like being an eve celebrity? And does this help or hinder your killboard stats?
I think the fact that I am the proud bearer of the title "RANSM's answer to high k/d efficiency" probably says all that there is to say. It does make me laugh when people give me ISK for fighting them, though.

How would you describe the general atmosphere on corp coms?
Noxious. I think someone had curry for tea.
If you could only impart one piece of advice to a person new to pvp what would it be?
If you're not dying, you're not getting better. Fight anything and everything and learn from your mistakes. If you come away from a fight with a lossmail and some new knowledge then you won, especially if you apply that knowledge to the next fight. Heck, that's how I started blogging.

As a fairly new member to the corp how do you find in general their sense of humour and general appreciation of Phil collins?
I like the corp’s sense of humour though I feel I need to brush up on my internet memes :P As for Phil Collins appreciation... well it is a little low, but then again I am here to spread his words to the new flock, praise him, oh laird.
Aria is notorious for mistreating her drones as a devoted Ishkur pilot does this disturb you?
I find her drone treatment appalling and I think I'm going to start scooping every drone she leaves behind and open up a 'Relief Centre For Aria's Homeless Drones' in Atlar, where I feed them soup and give them second-hand cardigans and try to find shitty but self-esteem building jobs for them at cardboard box factory or Little Chefs.

As a long time friend of RANSM how does it feel to be the corp. as opposed to just fleeting with its members?
There isn't much of a difference for me, really. when i ran 520, i got used to doing things in a very unconventional manner. for instance, i was the fucking BOSS over there, but i wasn't the ceo. i couldn't declare wars, change the corp bio or my own title for much of the time, but everyone knew wtf was up regardless of the technicalities flying with Sard as a friend of RANSM was interesting as we tried the "friends but not blues" approach for a while. We’d land on the same gate and look at each other with pretention "oh he's not that fast" "coffee's in here, FALCON FAGGOT" etc... so we'd never shoot each other. it was a homoerotic love story about two corps destined to be together anyway in truth, we had manpower when Sard needed it so he put up with our shit to get better fights and better kills. Why he let me in and made me a director is way beyond me

How would you describe the play style and general corp. ambiance of RANSM?
It’s pretty great. hmm, that's nebulous. I guess it's pretty laid back. Also ambiguous. Let me try again.
Our communist loot/ship system to keep our players in space and having fun is fucking awesome. It wouldn't be possible if we didn't have people in corp. that were fucking ridiculously rich that felt that the system benefitted their play style. Basically, the entire thing is about having fun and making shit blow up.
Sometimes our own but most times others. I think that sounds pretty much like a no-brainer to people who play other games, but to people who play eve; this is a unique gem of a corporation environment.
I think that because we've all been SUPER SERIOUS about our pvp careers and stats it's led us to a place where we're more serious about having a good time than about WINNING all the time. I’m sure Charlie Sheen would have something to say about that, but where I am (and I presume most if not all the others are as well) it's fucking awesome.
Also, Raxip is a huge ninny and left and broke my heart now I’m going to kill him (in game (but maybe out of game(hard to say for sure)))

As an eve player with a busy RL how does RANSM support your needs for striking a balance between RL and eve?
I kind of hit on this in question 3. the function of the corp. is to have fun and for the most part, we're all pretty old friends who have been slathering each others' backs in baby oil... erm... watching each others' backs? Is that what i meant? i don't know anymore, but it feels great. Like a big family. A big incestuous family
The fact that we're spread throughout all the us/western eu tzs means that there's shit going on from the time I get home from work (around 11am cst) till i go to bed on my days off (around 1am cst). That’s pretty amazing for a corp. of our size.
Also there are no mandatory ops. I mean, they could be construed as mandatory because they're fucking awesome. No one wants to miss out on shit like the stomping we gave to dragoons the other night or the wensleyday night roams... but if you can't make it, the only shit you catch is for all the fun you missed.
